Three very
different girls depart from their homes for an experience that they have never
had before. They are working together in the Hampton’s as Au Pairs. Eliza: Last
year she was in the Hampton’s, but as one of the rich and famous. Now she has to
hide it from her “friends” or she’ll loose them. Mara: She needs this money to
pay for college, leaving her boyfriend behind. While in the Hampton’s her new
roommate (Eliza) doesn’t think she fits in, her employer’s son falls for her,
and she becomes the new IT girl. Jacqui: She comes to America to find Luca; she
met him back in Brazil for only 2 weeks. Jacqui doesn’t care for the job but it
grows on her after her summer of adventures.
I enjoyed this book very much. It was entertaining, capturing, and
interesting. One thing I didn’t like/liked was the number of chapters. When I
started the book I could tell there were a lot of chapters which makes it seem
like a long book. But Because of the large number it made the chapters smaller.
Which I loved. It was one of the books where you find characters you love,
characters you hate, and a few other things that were predictable and weren’t so
predictable.
My favorite part of the book
was when the girls found true friends and realized how magical a summer in the
Hampton's can be.
My favorite of the 3 Au Pairs is Mara.
