Sixteen-year-old Adrienne Lewis is in charge of eight-year-old Emma Warner, an
evil genius who has gotten all five previous nannies fired -- and Emma is the
good news. Because then there's Emma's seventeen-year-old half-sister, Cameron.
Everyone knows how wild Cameron is. Everyone knows what a liar Cameron is.
Everyone knows what a user Cameron is. Everyone that is except Adrienne.
Adrienne's best friend, Liz, tries to warn her, but
Adrienne tells Liz she's the one who doesn't know the real Cameron! Together,
Adrienne and Cameron indulge in shopping sprees, bar hopping, and crazy, drunken
parties.
Confessions was completely addicting. In the summary
it said that Emma was an evil genius, but I disagree. I think I saw a good side
in her. This girl is an actual genius, but she could have tried a lot harder if
she wanted Adrienne gone. I think she was just giving Adrienne an interview, per
se, and she passed Emma’s test. But the real story is about Adrienne and
Cameron.
Though Adrienne has heard that Cam is evil, the girls
become friends. Cameron shows what being rich really means, and what it could
bring. Because of their friendship, Adrienne gets new clothes, cool friends, and
gets to go on all-expense paid vacations. All Adrienne has to do is not screw
up, with ANYTHING. But can she do it?
I loved the story and can’t wait to read the next
book. I was dying to find out if Cameron would fool everyone or if she is found
out at last.
My favorite part in the book was when Emma showed she liked Adrienne.
