In the sequel to Simply Divine, Divine Matthews returns home from life in Hollywood. She is very happy to see her cousins Alyssa and Chance, and is excited that she and Alyssa can start dating boys. In a few months they will turn 16, and Divine’s aunt and uncle will allow the girls to date. But when Chance makes a big mistake, Aunt Phoebe and Uncle Reed tell Alyssa and Divine they can’t date until they are 18. After this bad news she is starved for romance, but might have to pay the horrible price for it. going to be hard to wait for the next one…which I am hoping there will be a second sequel.
I couldn’t put this book down. Though there are only a few BIG surprises in this book it didn’t drag like in some other books. If your wondering if you would be lost if you didn’t read the first one, I don’t think so. But it would be great idea to read the first book.
This book is an okay read. Though I couldn’t put the book down, after a few weeks after reading it, I have already forgotten it. It had a very interesting storyline. It wasn’t as good as the first book, but that can be expected. It’s not one of my favorite books but still good. Interesting, yes. Memorable, sort of. But can be a funny good book that you can’t put down.
