When looking for the female lead in his next film, Dayne Matthews thinks of the perfect girl. He spotted her when he was looking for his birth mother. When trying to convince her to take the part his "wife" is convinced that he's "cheating" on her and try's to stop her.
Katy Hart used to be an actor. Now she just works with them. She lives in a small Midwestern town in Indiana and puts on the local plays. Instead of working in the lively town of Hollywood she works with the local kids and gives back to the comunity. But does she miss her life before it?
I absolutly LOVED this book. I was captured by it. By the time I had finished Book 1, I couldn't wait for book 2, Forgiven. When I was reading Book 2, I couldn't put it down. All I wanted to do was to find out what would happen between Dayne and Katy. Would Duane ever get to be with his real family? I read it in 2 days. Then I went on to Book 3, Family. That one I read in 2 days too, but I couldn't put it down either. It was so hard to put it down before I went to bed. I almost didn't. In this one all I coulld think about is Daynes family. You'll see why. Luckily I started it on a Saterday. I didn't have to put it down to late at night. :) I love this series and I love this author. I give this book, author, and series 5 stars.
My favorite part of the book was when Katy first meets Dayne face to face when she reads for a part in Dream On(Dayne's Movie)
