Friends With Benefits

By: Melody Mayer

Book 2 in the Nannies series

These 3 nannies are back and times get tougher. Kiley is working for Platinum, and worried about the kids. Platinum is a substance-abuser, alcoholic, and just plain mean. Kiley is scared for the kids, if Platinum’s secret with drugs is revealed; the kids could get taken away. If that happened, the kids lives would be ruined, and so would Kiley’s. Will she be discovered, or will Kiley get to stay in California.
Lydia is still working for her aunt. Because of the meager pay she gets, she is still borrowing clothes from her employer. Though she is supposed to be following the kids’ schedule, she tries to get the kids to like SOMETHING. Lydia finds something for each of the kids, but her veering from the schedule might get her fired.
Esme has been with Jonathan. But then she discovers he has a girlfriend, or does he? She is in love with the twins she takes care of, and wants to keep working with them. She feels guilty for going behind Junior’s back. That guilt gets worse when Junior gets shot. What will happen next to Esme, Lydia, and Kiley??? You’ll have to read the book to find out.
I loved this book. I practically stayed up reading all night because I couldn’t put it down. If you’ve read the first book then you better get the second and third to read. If you haven’t read the first book yet, get it along with books 2 and 3 and 4. Because you’ll need the rest of the story ASAP.
In a series it is the best idea to read the first book, well first. In the first book it will tell these 3 girls’ storys. But not only that, it starts their adventure in the weird world of Hollywood. In the series, the books show how finding a really great nanny job is as hard as becoming a star in a movie. Some how these girls find a few people that are normal, some that are nice, and some that are nuts. But these 3 nannies, these 3 friends stick together and stick it out.

My favorite nanny is Kiley.
