The end of Marnie and Nola’s friendship is not the end of their story. Marnie is “In”
with Lyzette and her posse while Nola is “Out”. They are supportive and fun, but can turn on
Marnie in and instant. With her new popularity, Marnie gets an “In” boyfriend to match.
Dayne is a huge romantic with Marnie but is she the girl he really wants? And is Dayne the
guy Marnie really wants?
Nola is hanging with the “Out” crowd, and she has found some great friends and is
having fun. In those friends she even has a crush on Matt. Matt treats Nola like a friend
and even volunteers to be Marnie’s replacement. Does Matt have feelings for Nola other then
friendship, even though he has a girlfriend?
This series is unbelievable. When you become a teenager sooner or later your
friendships change. Everyone and anyone knows that. I just can’t believe that someone was a
genius to actually write about it. Not only that, but the stories are INCREDIBLE. I already
like the characters and how they have developed. This book makes me feel like I am reading
about my friends. I think that just shows how great this series is.
Through the story I kept thinking that I wanted to see that these characters got the
best. I really wanted Marnie to see that the “In” crowd is no substitute for a best friend.
I think that if Marnie sees that Nola has that, maybe Marnie will realize that she made a
mistake. I have totally been rooting for Nola. I think that she deserves to have great
friends and a great guy who like her for herself. Not just people who like you when your
cool and drop you when you’re a loser. I really hope that these girls get what they deserve,
but we’ll have to read to find out.
My favorite part of the book was when Marnie saw the “In” crowds true colors. Now I’m dying to find out what happens next.
