After Ashley and Bryce’s stepfather told them about his past, the family has grown closer together. So what happens when there is a crime spree through Red Rock? Their step-sister could be hurt to find out the truth. Ashley and Bryce brace themselves for the worst as their step-sisters boyfriend, Randy, seems to be destroying mail boxes across Red Rock.
This book wasn’t as suspenseful as the first two books in the series. I thought it needed a bigger plot. The story did not give the reader a chance to solve the mystery, which stinks because people read mysteries to try to solve them.
This is a very popular series and like all series some books don’t live up to the first. This book isn’t bad, it just isn’t great. It is recommend for ages 10-15.
My favorite part of the book was when I found out who was the vandalizer was.
