Parallel Parking

By: Natalie Standiford

Book 6 in the Dating Game Series

Meet sophomores Madison, Holly and Lina. When the Dating Game Web site that they create for class becomes a campus hit, as a matchmaking service and a forum for students' views on love, sex, and dating, the three friends hope it will help them take control of their love lives, too...
Holly, Lina, and Mads have mapped out a plan to definitely get the guys of their dreams. But are they moving too fast? Is it time to put the brakes on the ultimate search for love? Friendships are tested when Holly's boyfriend, Sean, offers to give Mads some much needed lessons in parallel parking. It turns out driving lessons are not all Sean is willing to offer Mads.
If you have never read a dating game novel then this book is for you. Parallel Parking is the last book in the series but it didn’t feel like the end. First of all this book is really confusing. For most of the book I was wondering what happened to Holly’s boyfriend, because they don’t mention him and Sean is in the picture. In past books they fill you in on what last happened so that you don’t have to read the books in order, but this book didn’t really have that.
While reading this book I felt that the author made a mistake in making this the last book. Not only did this book feel rushed and out of character, but the book didn’t really have an ending. That really bothers me because the ending of this book is also the ending off the series. I want a real ending!
Even though there are several things that I didn’t like about this book, it doesn’t mean that I didn’t like the story. It’s just that those problems that I have with the book are taking up my thoughts of the story.

My favorite part of the book was when Sean was going after Holly.
