Princess Mia is stuck in Genovia for winter break, counting the days until she can see the love of her life Michael again. Besides being away from her boyfriend, Mia faces a boat load of problems. She needs to install parking meters in Genovia. She also has to prove how good for the economy the meters are. Mia has to stop biting her nails. She is soon back in the city, trying to stay afloat in a sea of self-doubt and not to fail Algebra II. Plus Mia needs to find her special gift to realize that she is not a complete loser. So much to do in so little time, but we’ll all see how it goes in her diary.
In these books Mia is kind of an over-obsessive air head. She over thinks, and worries about incredible things in her life, and I really don’t like that. But in spite of all of that, we fall in love with her. Because of that, it shows just how incredible Meg Cabot’s writing is. If she continues to write like this, I am sure to read more of her books. Keep it up!
My favorite part of the book was when Mia stopped over-obsessing.
