These 3 nannies, or should I say au pairs, are back and better then ever. After a few months of dating Ryan, Mara doesn’t think they can last. So she breaks up with him. But she realizes her mistake, and when she returns to the Hampton’s, she is going to work it out with him. On the plane there, Garrett, a rich, cute hamptonite asks her out. She says no, but when she see’s that Ryan has moved on, she does too.
But Ryan hasn’t moved on. The girl he spends a lot of time with is just a friend. But there’s another girl he’s thinking about besides Mara. Eliza, Mara’s best friend and fellow Au Pair. Over winter break, in Palm Beach they hooked up. Neither has told Mara. Eliza and Jeremy are back together. But he has an internship that means they don’t spend time with each other. At first Eliza doesn’t mind, she has an internship of her own, but once she see’s that he’s moved on, she does something that will hurt more people then herself.
Jaqui is sticking to her no boys rule. She wants to give herself an opportunity. She is studying for the SAT’s, and wants to live in NY as a full time nanny. If she stays in NY she can go to a great high school and maybe get into NYU. But that gets jeopardized when she sees the new au pair. He’s cute, French, and trouble. But he is forbidden fruit. To get the year long job, Anna says she has to stay away from him. But can she???
These girls are a cross between the gossip girl/It girl series and the Nannies series. It’s good and I can’t wait to read the third. Thank goodness I reserved it and have it now. It’s one of the best books you can get as a summer read, or for anytime of the year. Just don’t read it before bed, because you can’t put it down.
My favorite part of the book was when the girls found the RIGHT guys
