The Clique Series
The Clique is a series of books about a few best friends that are around thirteen years old. Massie Block is their leader with brunette hair and her laser- whitened smile, followed by Dylan Marvil, the second in command who thinks she is fat and is always on a diet. Then there is Alicia Rivera who would love to take Massie's throne one day. And last but not least is Kristen Gregory who loves all kinds of sports and can insult you faster than you can say, "My haircut isn't ugly!" They wear DKNY jeans, Jimmy Choo shoes, Prada bags, and all other designer clothes. People call them the "pretty committee" They go to an all girls private school and live in a fancy area. Very preppy and fashionable, these girls can have a major attitude! One day an overall gap- wearing girl named Claire comes to stay in Massie's guesthouse and that's when things go crazy! There are nine books in the series and I love them so much.

The First Book   Claire Lyons moves with her parents from Florida to wealthy Westchester County, NY. Until they can get settled, the family stays in the guest house of Mr. Lyons's college buddy, who happens to have a daughter who is also in seventh grade. Expected to welcome her, Massie instead chooses to make Claire's life miserable for no other reason than she's the new girl. Massie enlists her clique of friends at Octavian Country Day School, all part of the beautiful and popular crowd, to help with the harassment, which ranges from catty comments on Claire's clothes to spilling red paint on her white jeans in a conspicuous spot. Tired of it all, Claire tries to fight back, but then the abuse worsens.

My favorite part of the book:
